"When Obama became president we were all happy about the symbolism - America's first black president. We really didn't care about his position and views on anything. We just wanted a black president no matter what. . . .

I think 0 bummer will be the only black ever to occupy the white hut. He has made it impossible for any other black person to be elected to POTUS. He is toxic to small business owners. Skin color trumped politics in 2008.

Skin color truly should not matter ..... but the black community MADE it about skin color by ignoring whether or not he was qualified, what his values were, what his positions were .... “we just wanted a black president no matter what”. Well, they got him .... not even a ‘black’ in the sense that would probably resonate with most ‘American blacks’ (coming up through the civil rights movement, etc.). Nope, they got a half white president, raised mostly as a Muslim in a foreign country & thoroughly indoctrinated as a Communist.

I know a lot of fine, decent blacks .... God-fearing, Bible-believing, love America, even with the perceived race issues ... and they compromised all of that for Obama’s ‘sort of’ black skin. Obama is hurting them not only as a ‘black’ community, but America as a whole.
