Thanks. As for Robispierre, if you read Rev. Arnette's Sermon in its entirety, he deals with that tyrannical leader too, as well as others throughout recorded history.

Additionally, his comments regarding a great enemy of our liberty today reveal a good understanding of that ideology's roots and consequences.

The pulpit is largely silent today. The collections of Revolutionary Period Sermons (for instance, Ellis Sandoz's) prove the remarkable role they played in spreading the ideas of liberty.

Yes, I have no doubt that we have many would-be Robepierre’s or “name any murderous dictator” in our midsts. How many leftists still see the French Revolution as a good thing, not for the democratic institutions that formed later - they don’t like those much- but for the Reign of Terror itself. It was all about CHANGE. Get rid of God, get rid of traditions, start from scratch, even regulate the way people dressed and talked to each other.

THAT is the leftist wet dream.
