Not to be a jerk, but perhaps closing all the bases in Germany might be a start towards tackling the debt. Oh I bet Germany would change their tune quickly if that was brought up after that story. We immediately closed every base in Puerto Rico after that complained and now they are regretting the decision especially the people in Roosey Roads.

As I recall, under GWB we almost did that once. Germany squeeled about Americas Imperial precence in Germany/Europe, GWB said ok then.....
