"Is That All There Is?" Dems Tell America: Abandon All Hope
Boston Herald ^ | September 7, 2012 | Michael Graham

To quote the late, great Peggy Lee: “Is that all there is?”

The Democrats’ message to wavering, undecided voters was summarized by Bill Clinton Wednesday night:

“No president — not me, not any of my predecessors — no one could have fully repaired all the damage that he found in just four years.”

This is as good as it gets: A crappy recovery, 8 percent unemployment as far as the eye can see, constant talk of tax hikes and chronic class envy, and another trillion dollars of debt thrown on the backs of our children each year.

That’s it? The best we can do? There were no better ideas than Barack Obama’s failed stimulus, no leader who could have gotten us better results?

Republicans are quick to point out that at least one president already did: Ronald Reagan. He inherited an economic collapse, an energy crisis, inflation around 18 percent, interest rates at 21 percent — all with the constant threat of an expanding Soviet empire looming in the background.

Four years later, America had the fastest growth and the lowest inflation in the Western industrialized world. As Louis Woodhill writes in Forbes, the number of jobs after the first three years of Reagan’s recovery jumped an astounding 8.97 percent.

During Bush 43’s recovery, jobs grew by 2.93 percent, while Clinton added 3.64 percent more jobs.

And what about the three years of Obama’s “recovery?”

A pathetic 1.72 percent more jobs. And Democrats are singing “Nobody Does It Better?”

How about “Hit the Road, Jack.”

The debate...

Obviously, it's Bush's Romney's fault.

In socialistic countries like America 8% average unemployment is to be expected.

Wow. Astonished that the BOSTON Herald would print this... I am certain they are already getting death threats from the “love and tolerance to all” folks.

Things are not looking good for our Kenyan CiC.

Don’t be astonished. The Boston Herald is not the Boston Globe, which is owned by the NY Times.

In socialist countries, 8% unemployment is pretty low, actually.

Actually in socialist nations an official unemployment rate of 8% is considered excellent news.

What is the official unemployment rate for Greece today? Over 23%.

I wonder if Greece counts the ones who quit looking? If we did ours would be that high as well.

Translation:

We need more time because there was too much opposition to a socialized conversion of America.

They honestly and truly believe America can be better by converting to a Communist socialized country.

And the Cloward-Piven doctrine didn’t fully evolve as they expected either.

Bingo. Rahm was interviewed the other day and said that we are only just started in the 'transition'.

I never heard a follow-up question: Transition to what?

Every day of my life involves some attempt on my part to throw a monkey wrench into the Communist gearbox, doesn’t matter where, when or how, if I see, hear or read something that has a socialistic agenda I am on it like a bear on a food cooler.

I especially find satisfaction in explaining what a communist America will actually be like, how the “perfect” society will be a dead society.

The concise Democrat platform of 2012:

“To reign is worth ambition though in Hell:
Better to reign in Hell, then serve in Heav’n.”

— Satan, in Paradise Lost, Book I

Importantly, the Democrats denied God three times, before the crowing of Obama. And you know what that makes him?

Ronald Reagan turned our economy around so saying what Clinton did is another LIE! People who are uninformed and believe what any Democrap says are the real danger to America. The Republicans must refute the lies of the left and bring the truth to the front, every single time the lies go unchallenged the power of the dark side increases. Speak up and speak out!

Oh no no no. They are not telling everyone to abandon hope, only the honest, working, taxpaying citizens.

For union thugs, the democrat elite, the socialist millionare/billionares, the never worked permanent welfare slugs and illegals their promise is that those tax slaves we have chained up will provide for all of your needs and wishes.

This is to be expected from the once and still party of slavery.

The democrat party should have been outlawed in 1865 and the party leadership at the time hanged for treason, north and south.

Cue the posters and murals showing triumphant collective workers holding up their garden tools and AK 47’s to the sky.

C’mon, Clinton was lying through his teeth like a good Dem should. He knows Obama is a disaster and has said so in “private” conversations. He had an ulterior motive. If Obama gets voted out, this puts Hillary back at the center of attention. The average Dems will think they’ll be getting Slick Willy back as well.
