Romney Fires Back After DNC Platform Excludes Jerusalem as Israeli Capital
algemeiner ^ | 9/4/2012

Unlike the party’s 2008 platform, the Democrats 2012 platform does not specifically mention Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and now Mitt Romney is firing back.

“It is unfortunate that the entire Democratic Party has embraced President Obama’s shameful refusal to acknowledge that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital,” Romney said in an e-mail to reporters.

Mitt Romney at the Western Wall

In 2008, the Democratic platform stated: “Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel. The parties have agreed that Jerusalem is a matter for final status negotiations. It should remain an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths.”

Earlier this year, White House Deputy Press Secretary Josh Earnest stated “the capital [of Israel] is something that should be determined in final status negotiations between the parties. I’d remind you that that’s the position that’s been held by previous administrations, both Democratic and Republican.”

The Jerusalem Embassy Act, which calls for Jerusalem to be recognized as the capital of Israel, was passed by Congress in 1995 but has never been implemented. Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and now Barack Obama have viewed it as a congressional infringement on the executive branch’s constitutional authority over foreign policy.

“Four years of President Obama’s repeated attempts to create distance between the United States and our cherished ally have led the Democratic Party to remove from their platform an unequivocal acknowledgment of a simple reality,” Romney’s statement read on Tuesday. “As president, I will restore our relationship with Israel and stand shoulder to shoulder with our close ally.”

Catholics have nothing in common with the Dems today
Jews have nothing in common witht he Dems today
Prods have nothing in common with the Dems today
Hard working blue collar have nothing in common with the Dems today
Sikhs and Hindu’s have nothing in common with the Dems today\BLACKS HAVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING IN COMMON WITH THE DEMS except some who only see the color of their skin and say this guy is not white or black we’ll take him as he is not white

All they have is homosexuals, illegals , anti religion and muslims but of course they have the media which will cover and like for their messiah as usual and like they did back in 08 and now 12

\If the media did their job then jug ears would never win any state as the people would be informed

Funny how gays have more in common with muslims who want to cut their heads off than with ordinary Americans.

Mormonism is an anti-Christian religion and holds anti-Christian doctrines.

However, it is possible for Mormons to be Christian. You just can’t be a GOOD Mormon and Christian at the same time. But if they believe in Christ as their only savior from sin and that he rose from the dead in order to forgive them, they’re Christian, even if everything else they believe is wrong.

I won’t give any guesses on how MANY Mormons are really Christian; that’s God’s business, not mine. But whether there are thousands or none, they’re still worth praying for.

Instead of hating on Romney, it’d be better to pray that he comes to true saving faith in Jesus, and to pray for our leaders and our country.

RaisingCain and svcw are two lesbian women from Naperville, Illinois. They arrive at a thread and begin to urinate all over till the conversation is controlled by them. There goal is to elect President Obama. They mock everything we here believe in. Allowing them here diminishes our site, in all my 14 years here we have never had to endure this kind of crap inside our camp. It happens several times a day, every day, without fail.

On issue after issue, you sound a lot like I think. Man you’re smart. LOL

I sure agree with you here. There are at least some things that Romney says that I really like.

I sure wish I could take it to the bank, that he’d truly govern that way as President, and not do anything Leftist.

If he did, he could go down as a great president. I don’t see it happening though. Here’s to hoping I am very wrong.

Yep. The usual jackasses have come to destroy this thread, which is about the support of Israel.

I think that the idea is that it’s possible to be saved by Jesus Christ while belonging to a Mormon ‘church.’ If you believe that he died and rose again to save you from sin and death. It’s just impossible to be a GOOD Mormon and Christian at the same time.

It probably would not if people would stop claiming that mormonism is Christianity.

Ray Comfort once noted that it isn’t necessary, as a young Christian, to understand all the fine points of Christian doctrine to be saved. One can be saved and be utterly ignorant about the trinity, etc. Let’s have the hypothetical situation of a person who has faith in Jesus Christ, a biblical Faith (not the Mormon version) but was still in the LDS, perhaps with an imperfect knowledge. It basically would be equal to being a Muslim and a “Christian”. One cannot know a person’s heart, but it isn’t a safe place to be, and for a person who stays in that situation, it is extraordinarily doubtful that they are actually saved.

Why?
Are you aligning yourself with anti-Christianity?
What is your point, with that graphic?

[That Willard is willing to p*ss of the Islamics like Obama never was ]

Obama reauthorized Stuxnet and the cyberwarfare platform initiated under W that culminated in those Iranian centrifuges self-destructing.

He's also half-Jewish.

That's evidently “p*ss of the Islamics” enough that:
