Yes, Akin said something which sounds absurd, and the liberals hyperventilated.

Even many Republicans hyperventilated about it. But at the end of the day, are conservatives in Missouri really going to vote for McKaskill (sp?) again, just because Akin said something stupid? Liberals say stupid things all the time and it doesn’t matter.

And, are those same voters really going to vote for Obama, to punish Romney because a fellow Repulican said something stupid?

I think this race in Missouri with Akin may well be very close.

Yep. He said something really stupid and I'll admit I was among the Republicans who hyperventilated about it. Yet in my heart I knew that there was no realistic chance at this time to replace him with someone else and I also knew that if I lived in Missouri, I'd still vote for him regardless of the extremely moronic comment he made.

Hope he pulls it off and I hope the idiocy "legitimate rape" never again leaves his lips. And I hope conservative candidates learn a valuable lesson from this. It's all too easy to hobble a campaign by putting your foot in your mouth.

Jeez Louise, the Democrats say something stupid eight times a day. Joe Biden alone would keep their consecutive game batting streak alive. A stupid conservative over a clever liberal any day of the week (at least in my book).

The Republican Establishment hates social conservatives — Karl Rove is an example of the RINO’s contempt.

I can't directly oppose people like Rove, but I can fight back by sending donations to Todd Akin.

It is my hope that an army of conservatives will rally to support Todd Akin, and that he will be elected to the Senate.

Take that, Rove.

McCaskill (and her liberals in the party) are "so confident" of her win this November, she's skipping their convention next week!

Actions do speak louder than mere words, don't they.
