All politics are local. Hopefully we’re able to keep moving the ball forward. If Mia Love and Vernon Parker both win they’ll be a formidable combination that will cause blacks and centrist whites to leak from the Democratic Party. If those numbers get reduced by a fairly small percent we can expect more GOP governors and other statewide offices in current Dem strongholds.
Yes indeed having conservative Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Jews ect be involved and visible is important in competing for those votes, 20% of the Black vote would end the chances of the democrats ever winning anything in the South again.
Governor Martinez had a touching story of a young girl (or girls plural more than once?) who recognized her in a store. A girl who has yet to be brainwashed by public schools who will grow up knowing the Latina Governor of her state was a Republican and she can be one too cause no one is born a democrap, democraps are made.
