Twenty years ago I would've chuckled at this article.
Today I agree with it wholeheartedly. God help my progeny.

And all the roads jam up with credit
And there’s nothing you can do
It’s all just bits of paper
Flying away from you
Look out world take a good look
What comes down here
You must learn this lesson fast
And learn it well
This ain’t no upwardly mobile freeway
Oh no, this is the Road to Hell

I am not, I am saved by Grace, adopted and loved by God.
Justified, and made Righteous ALONE IN CHRIST ALONE.
Therefore ?
There is now NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.
And ? who can condemn ? for it was GOD who justified us, and sent his very own son to save us.

The demise of the United States means no people anywhere can long govern themselves. It means a terrible new dark age will descend upon the earth. Rats and muslims may fight over the details, but both are demonstrably capable of creating hells on this earth.

There is a need to deal with the deficit and reign in spending but the idea that defense spending can be cut in a time of war is idiotic..if we don't have a country deficits wont matter.
We are at war with a ruthless Islamist enemy who will never give up. We will win or they will win

After the coup by Romney at the RNC today, I do believe it does not matter who “wins” but just how far down and how fast we will fall down the rabbithole.

This is just plumb damn scary. When this happens, look for those who have prepped to be forced to share their food with the masses. And if they object, they will be killed. There will be no wealth to spread around....only food and water.
This explains why the republicans don’t want to win.

"As much as Americans love their military, thats not going to be cut; in fact, the Republicans, idiotically and unbelievably, want to increase it. The other functions of government − the police, justice and regulatory agencies − are really just a tiny portion of government spending."
That's a lie. The many kinds of federal funding for state and local governments (the tether of locals, including many Republicans, to federal government social and other policies) should be cut first. Social program spending is enormous.

This is one of the few times that I wish Governor Perry was president. He’d sell that highway to a Spanish Company (for tolling), and those poor Spaniards would be left with the bill.

On the general thesis of the piece, remember this. Sexually confused socialists cannot continue to have big government without big revenues of great value (revenues, e.g., from manufacturing—not recirculating debt without big manufacturing). They’re going to lose during the years ahead.
