They want abortion on demand...when they want it and where they want it.

And keeping it that way keeps MONEY in the pocket of the PP clinic owners. THERE IS BIG MONEY IN IMMORALITY. Just ask the politicians whom the PP clinic owners donate money to. (not that they would admit it)

You realise that any DR we trot out to say that they can “shut it down”, the Dems will find 5 more that say the opposite?

.sure wish there was an edit button on here.

Odd how the FORCED PREVIEW before making a post doesn't solve the problem.

Re: Good post.

What would make a conservative poster on this site call for silence on this, when there’s no way our discussing it will have any effect on the mainstream narrative?

Thanks. You’re too kind, but I’m just the delivery boy. I do love WND though. The next best site to FR!!

The real point is no matter how many women get pregnant from rape, is that an excuse for providing Taxpayer funded abortions for (women and the men they had sex with) because they find it inconvenient ?

Are we not rewarding irresponsibility ?

Re: And the point trying to be made is what? akin made his point and he is out of politics for good after he loses bigtime.

Sorry, I don’t base my decisions on what the media thinks about issues.

that they can “shut it down”

I think many women took offense (actually, I know they did) about that part of Akin's comments.

The implication they took from it was that WOMEN can choose to shut it down 'consciously'. Those who experienced rape and got pregnant then take think they are being blamed for NOT shutting it down.

Which is erroneous on their part. Getting pregnant is more like a crap shoot. Individual Results are mostly unpredictable. The 'conscious' may guide, but it does not 'control' the body. Your glands generate powerful acids to burn the food you intake, yet you consciously do nothing at all (other than eat) to make this happen.

If you eat food you don't LIKE, your glands don't produce as much of the acid (or the correct acids), and don't digest it as much, preferring to pass it on out as waste. Here again, the BODY takes some DIRECTION from the conscious, but only the BODY decides exactly HOW and WHAT to do about it.

Once again Akins supporters go on to say he apologized for a misstatement, and then go on to try to prove his statement correct.

He said what he meant and meant what he said. A morons a moron 100%

I sure as heck don’t either. I’m not running for office or trying to sway fickle and women voters.

What does concern me and the health of America is defeating every possible democrat. akin lost and so will any others that try to play footsie with this media designed rape subject.

It doesn;t matter

He was stupid to let a liberal whorenalist interview him on the subject.

You won’t see McCaskill going on Hannity, would you?

Why does anyone in the GOP even talk to the libtards?

Why do you people keep digging this hole deeper?

Have you heard of the "Delphi Technique", DManA?
Using the Delphi Technique to Achieve Consensus

Some people simply refuse to be manipulated by sly, cunning "facilitators" or "change agents".

WHY? It's called the TRUTH. Truth is always important.

Republicans caused this disaster by jumping to conclusions and not heading this off right at the beginning.

After almost every Republican has helped dig a GIANT hole and thrown poor Todd Akin in it, you are screaming “STOP DIGGING”. YOU dug this hole, now lay in it.

Did you even read the article?, by Jane Orient, M.D., the executive director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.

When are all these Republican COWARDS going to grow a pair? If Republicans had put the press in their place, from the start, this would never have been an issue. But NOOOOOOO, they were scared of the press, so they decided to join them in destroying a fine, pro life conservative, who in-artfully stated FACTS. He was convinced by the powers that be, to apologize and retract poorly worded accurate statements. BOTH mistakes. He should have EXPLAINED what he “MEANT”.

Republicans PANICKED!, and that is why we are where we are.

Republicans PANICKED!, and that is why we are where we are.

That is my take as well. It is one reason I am no longer a republican. And the “subtleties” associated with that reason are too numerous to go into here.

You and I are actually in agreement here.

Here are two articles posted to FR recently.

 and

Stress Puts Double Whammy On Reproductive System, Fertility

Now, unless one is willing to say that rape is not stressful, then perhaps the body does have a natural defence against it. Naturally, it isn't foolproof, but it would seem that it does lower the risk of unwanted pregnancy in the wake of a forcible rape. I can't say that I'm surprised at all that this is the case.

Concerning Akin, given the garbage that spews out of Biden's mouth on an almost daily basis, I'm not really interested in lynching this guy because if his inarticulate response to an asked question.

I don’t have the numbers in front of me but I’d venture to guess the odds are not significantly different from the odds of getting pregnant in other cases of sexual intercourse.

Does that include the misbehavior of a man and a woman who have consensual and unprotected sex, and then find the pregnancy inconvenient ?

Indeed, it does.

A majority of the the public is in the same boat as you and I.

For some odd reason, the 'stats' on pregnancy from rape vs. pregnancy from consensual sex seem to be lacking.

I actually found some sources, but most choose to ignore them.

SO.... do you think taxpayers should have to pay for abortions due to the misbehavior of men and women ?
