You might notice that papa hasn’t had what it takes to answer but a couple more noobs have come to his defense.

Actually, I did get a response from him on another thread, but it was a typical trollish insult. But when I asked him to back up a bizarre claim that he made, silence.

Papa had to go to work. We’re not all on the government dole like you.

I’m still praying for some type of miracle.

Its really all we can do but in the end the rewards will be greater than anything we’ll ever see on earth. Politics no longer comes before my soul and the fear voters can laugh all they want but I think their “reward” is coming.

To all of you who agreed with me; “THANKS”. To all of you that I pissed off: Deal with it. Go on and vote for Virgil Goode or some other “loser”. We who are more concerned about getting the Kenyan, Marxist Muslim out of the White House than we are “sending a message” will win without you.

ROFLMAO!!!

He sure isn’t doing Romney any favors.

My opinion is that Santorum was the candidate the Dems were hoping would get the nomination. He would have been demonized, rightly or wrongly, by the left as being a religious “zealot”. The “war on wimmin” would have been used far more successfully against Santorum than it has been with Romney. The anti-women strategy against Romney is a joke and everyone knows it.

You are probably right but to be honest, that is VERY sad. It just makes me think America deserves what it gets. I cannot believe a good honest man who doesn’t want to murder babies cannot win an election in the United States. We are going down the drain in every way. Romney might block it some but the water is still going down the toilet. I think we need a 180 with regards to morals and principles IMHO.

Look, I understand that there are people who are legitimate conservatives who are really mad at Todd Akin. I don't agree but I respect that.

However, you can't seriously argue that Todd Akin, a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary and a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church in America, “comes from a faith tradition which puts less stock in precision.”

Calvinists are nothing if not particular about their fine points and details in theology.

In Akin’s case, he's also a trained engineer, which might argue that he has more than a bit of emphasis on precision in other subjects besides faith and politics.

Now if you want to say that the PCA is less strict than the OPC and other conservative denominations, you have a point. I am far stricter than the PCA in my Calvinist principles. However, even the PCA puts more “stock in precision” than most American evangelical denominations.

Yeah. We dodged a bullet. We got Romney who might very well lose this election. Some dodge.

As others have already said, I’d prefer that ticket over R&R, really.

After all, if we want to discuss “alternate realities” as soon as we do, all bets are off. That is, in an alternate universe, there is no guarantee (not even close) that Akin would say the exact same thing.

Also, with Akin as Santorum’s Veep, Santorum’s would be able to teach him the best way to answer that “abortion in the case of rape” question. After all, Santorum’s pretty much knocked that one out of the park when asked the exact same thing.
