You mean they threw him out after he ran for Vice President in 2004 and was defeated in his primary run for the Presidency in 2008. The Dems moved away from him after the National Enquirer blew the whistle. The MSM and the Dems protected him as long as they could.

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson ran for the Presidency despite a history of gaffes. In the case of Sharpton, he actually caused some deaths in his wake and now he has a TV show. What price did either of them pay for their mistakes? Eliot Sptizer is another example. Charlie Rangel is still in Congress. Ted Kennedy was reelected after his indiscretions. The Democrats have no shame. The Reps collapse like a cheap suit if the MSM sneezes.
