Hope I post this correctly. Very new to site.
Detective, your thoughts encapsulate the life I grew up knowing, and living.
I would say that it’s sad it’s come to this in our culture, but the fact is,...the culture(not as popularly defined) disagrees.
I grew up under the tutelage of an avowed catholic mother and an agnostic navy fighter pilot(whom I believe was closer to God than any man I have known...Though he would politely withdraw from such conversation).
I feel blessed to have entered my life thusly and look forward to perusing the information and knowledge I hope to gain here.

For certain. The blending of the sexes and the neutralization of marriage and sex within marriage as an admirable goal, permanent childhood, fear of commitment and real risk taking, etc. are all symptoms of the same disease.

Liberalism is sick and hard to cure. I cannot find a major culture in history that embraced liberalism and then was able to peaceably throw off its yoke. I pray America can.

Nobody over the age of 21 is young. They are fully adult. When your grandparents were growing up, 18 would have been considered fully adult, but people are generally juvenile nowadays. It’s why we have a man-child for president.

If you want to get rid of a certain genre of music, set your sights on rap.
I associate Metal with grungy OWS loons, not smart conservatives like yourself. Please just read the book. If after that you still want Metal, go for it.
Strong generalization of who listens to metal music. I know numerous conservatives who listen to Metallica (one of my favorite groups). Heck, a 60+ year old women at my old church played Metallica's "Fade to Black" on her accoustic guitar during a Bible Study.
Agreed; going with that, you probably couldn’t separate the good bands from the terrible ones.
I listen to stuff like Iron Maiden, Helloween, Pagan’s Mind, Threshold, Shadow Gallery, and things of that nature, the progressive/power metal side of things.
You’re probably thinking of the bands that get huge play on radio and TV.
