Huge mistake.... HUGE.... if this is true.... I’m sure Axelrod, Jarrett and the rest are ecstatic. Romney is an idiot of he picks Ryan, but it wouldn’t surprise me. I don’t think he wants to win or has any intention of even trying.

If the DUmmies are happy, Ryan is a horrible choice. The one they feared was Rubio and that is who he should have picked. Now we have boring and boring.

They are happy because they think he’s TOO conservative to win. The fact that they think that makes me like him more.

That said, my Mom, as I mentioned yesterday on another thread, has been vehemently insisting for months he should pick Rubio. She likes Ryan but says Rubio would be the best and would be good to get Latino voters.

Please! According to you posting preferences, if Romney had chosen the perfect VP - he would still be wrong. To claim that a Ryan choice means Romney and Co. was trying to lose is...well...just particularly astute...or stupid.

I don't think this would be the worst choice for vp, but I agree that from here in the stands it's looking pretty boring.

Romney and his people are going to have to work on that.

I believe folks would find a way to praise anyone Romney picked.

With the alternative they're facing, many would cheer on a cardboard cut out for the election.
