She has a prior felony conviction....she cannot own or reside in a house with a gun.....
Example, if you are married and your wife has a felony conviction in her past, she cannot reside in your home if you own weapons and store them at your home (where she could have access.
“Cook was charged in 2002 for fleeing and eluding a traffic officer.”
With this being considered a felony, I’m not sure our founding fathers would be in agreement that her God -given rights should be infringed upon. Unless I suppose she ran over a bunch of people while fleeing. But I think they would have mentioned that part.
Don't tell that to G. Gordon Liddy - his wife owns many guns, or so he stated on the radio, numerous times.
Pure nonsense. If your wife has a felony conviction, simply deny her access to firearms by buying a safe....or keep them around for self defense and when the cops show up, put them in the safe. Felons can own blackpowder/ball/cap pistols since they are not firearms.
Gordon Liddy who is a convicted felon ,, and he has made remarks on his radio program about certain firearms he prefers over others . When asked by a caller who listens to his show about the law restricting felons from gun ownership Liddy simply replied “ I personally own no guns but Mrs. Liddy has one hell of a collection “ . I heard him say that myself when his syndicated show was carried by WCBM radio in Baltimore . I believe Liddy lives in Northern Va. but I’m not sure .
