No. Negotiate. Give them the Sinai, the East Bank of the Nile, and half of Cairo. Violence never solves anything./sarc

The Egyptians can fight terror in the Sinai IF THEY CHOOSE TO DO SO. Now that Egypt is run by the Islamic (Muslim) Brotherhhod will we see that new government crack down on the MORE radical Islamists, just as Mubarak and Sadat did? After all, they are all Brothers who kill each other during Ramadan...

Just speculation, but maybe the terrorists jumped the gun, and to allow 'em into Israel would expose the intentions of the new Muslim Brotherhood Egypt before enough Arab states were under the Muslim Brotherhood yoke. So they whack a few expendables to fake support for the treaty.
Syria is not yet controlled and they ain't got started in Jordan yet.
The MB probably wants to get a lot stronger before they startup with the final solution for Israel and the world wakes up.

instructed soldiers to open fire on terrorists immediately in the future. This sounds like it was staged for U.S. consumption, to keep the aid billions rolling in.
