Obama Campaign Taps Small Biz Owners To Say They 'Built That' - With Support

On the trail, Obama is calling for more taxpayer investment in infrastructure and other projects - investments he was touting when he uttered the phrase "you didn't build that" - a line Republicans chopped up and turned into a rallying cry. Several of the small business owners tapped by the Obama campaign say their businesses survived the recession thanks to government projects.

"I am a product of all the great opportunities our country gives its citizens. I grew up with middle-class values, where I went to public school. I went to college at a public university, where I received a Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps scholarship," Angie Morgan, a co-founder of the Leadstar company says in a release sent by the Obama campaign to Virginia news outlets. "Upon graduation, I served my country as a Marine. Today I am a military wife and a small business owner that employs military veterans. I believe that President Obama's leadership and vision create paths for the American Dream to be possible."

Is it just me, or does it seem like every time Obama has a SPECTACULARLY bad idea, and realizes it, that he ‘doubles down’ instead of correcting his course?

I operated my own business for 18 years employing 10 full time employees,and donating to charities and paying my taxes year after year.. I was a "workaholic" in many of my friends eyes.

Several years ago(the same year The White House handed out free money to their friends)I sold my business. The following April I sent a check to the feds for $1.8 million. When I wrote that check it sure felt like it was my money.

Narcissistic personalities do that. They're SO convinced that they're 'right', they keep doing the same stupid thing over and over again because they think no one agrees with them because they just hadn't explained it well enough to be understood.

So they shoot themselves in the foot......AGAIN!

OMG! The company I used to work for bought into all that crapola hook, line, and sinker. Seemed like hardly a month would go by without having to attend some event - self-esteem building, lots of role-playing, you name it. Always taught by some lib-lite gentle talker who wasn’t bright enough to glue two boards together.
