"This is supposed to be the party and the president of the people? To close this state park in August for purely partisan political reasons is outrageous. People are going to be on their one-week vacation and they can’t get into Sherwood Island?”

What legal right does he have to do this? Does the city have authority to give a public beach to a partisan political campaign on a possibly hot summer day? If so, the people of that city should remember this and vote those people out. It certainly isn't fair to those who will not vote for him.

Just who is paying for all of this anyway? I know that a city in California is finally suing the Obama campaign for the excessively high cost of a visit by him, because his campaign has ignored the bill sent to them.

Oh, for a huge downpour that day!

Why doesn't the state of Connecticut tell Obambi to go pound sand? The taxpayers in that state own the beach - they should get first choice.

The Obama Campaign should have to pay the expenses of anyone who want to go to a Florida beach instead. This is ridiculous “I am the King” behavior.

The sheeple of Connecticut will obediently vote for King Obama in November no matter what he does. Will even a few who are unable to visit the park think badly of Obama or will they reflexively blame Bush?
