A kiss-in at the Chick-fil-A on Central Expressway near Lovers Lane in Dallas on Friday afternoon did not seem to keep chicken lovers away.
Supporters of same-sex marriage are planning demonstrations in response to Wednesday's "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day." Facebook postings by organizers call for people to stage "kiss-ins" at Chick-fil-A restaurants at 7 p.m. Friday night.
Hundreds of thousands of Texans jammed Chick-fil-As to show support for the company's president, who said in an interview that the company was "guilty as charged" for backing "the biblical definition of a family."
The kiss-in at the Central Expressway Chick-fil-A began at about noon lasted until about 5 p.m.
Around a dozen demonstrators were equipped with mouthwash, breath freshener and posters, but there was hardly any kissing.
At lunchtime Friday, half a dozen Dallas police officers were at the Central Expressway store and ordered demonstrators to stay off the restaurant property.

As so many have pointed out - people for CFA fill every store, gays get 10 people to one per city x 10 cities. The real problem is that msot people, over 15, think that 25% of America is gay not 2% - the CFA protest prove the “media” gets the data wrong by a lot.

Central Expressway...has to be the closest to Oak Lawn (Dallas “gay” district). Still, not a hefty turnout, and closely resembles the OWS under 30 set basement dwellers. Typical liberals, so incredibly stupid by generously handing free advertising to the very establishments they say are the “haters”. For the love of Pete, I am loathing that term “hater”...translation, one who disagrees. I long to travel in the way back machine of 1950’s where civility, shame, etc. exists. God help us all survive this nonsense.

Actually, the one over by SMU is closer to Oak Lawn. But then they would be dealing with UP cops instead of Dallas cops. And that could get unpleasant.

The one by SMU wouldn’t be used by protestors to start, yeah. But the one on Central is maybe a mile away.
To be fair, many if not most gays actually supported the Wednesday demonstration, from all reports. They feel that free speech > ‘support for gay marriage’ in the priorities list.
There were several all gay groups in the DFW area that I know of who made a point of joining everyone else in line on Wednesday - not to protest CFA but to say they supported their 1st Amendment rights. Also to get a good meal.
Hard to have a problem with such folks’ priorities.
UP cops will pretty much tell you to GFO of “the bubble” with many “escorts”. I had a place in the 90’s on the fringe of Oak Lawn and Highland Park. Good times back then. In fact, I still haven’t encountered any obnoxious behavior in that area. I don’t encounter very many “militant” gays or fems in the DFW area. Concealed carry pretty much deters such nonsense ‘round here. We also have a healthy chaser of manners required.

KCAL 9 had “Live Team Coverage” of the kiss-in idiocy..5 minutes of coverage..meanwhile, during the appreciation Day they gave it 10 seconds..shows where they stand..and your absolutely right, there are many homos in the media
I drove by three of their restaurants today and saw nary a faggot, kissing or otherwise.

I visited the nearest Chick-Fil-A (about a 35 min. drive) via drive-thru on Friday because I figured the best way to make the "kiss-in" fail would be to ignore it and not take their bait. I didn't see any protesters outside the restaurant though. It wasn't nearly as crowded as Wednesday, but they were still busy and had a steady steam of customers. There were 8 cars in front of me when I got in the drive-thru line to order a large peach milkshake.
Was at mine tonight around 6:30. A couple of police officers were there looking bored. Didn’t see any sign of guys trying to be fruitful.
Such mental pictures --- aaaaaaack!. I guess if you effectively wipe your butt with your lips, you would need mouthwash and breath freshener...
I would bet money that if the media just dropped by that location at a random time hoping to find gay kissers their search would have been fruitless.
