Waving signs with slogans like "I love my boyfriend just as much as you love your spouse," supporters of same-sex unions protested Friday at select metro Atlanta Chick-fil-A stores.
_______________
"I don't care about their personal views, I care about how they spend their money," Atlantan Benjamin Cobb said as he protested with about 30 others outside the East Trinity Place Chick-fil-A in Decatur.
"What they are saying is you're welcome in our restaurant and your money is welcome, but we're going to turn it around and use it against you," said protester Tascha Madaffari, whose children, Dominic, William and Emerson, sat nearby eating McDonald's meals.
_______________
"I think everyone is free to do what they want, including deciding where their money goes," said Bryce Smith, who protested at Colony Square with about 12 others. "But I can also express my opinion about that."
About 25 protesters waved to passing traffic in front of CNN Center in downtown Atlanta Friday night. One of them, John Longino of Cherokee County, identified himself as a straight father of seven who said he was there because "everyone needs to be equal."
He was accompanied by his son, Rollin, a student at Kennesaw State University, who was dressed like Jesus and held a sign that said, "I had two dads and turned out alright."

As “he” wipes the poop off his penis...degenerates one and all.
I love many of my male friends too. Doesn’t mean I want to have unnatural “sex” them.
Grow up. Eros is for the opposite sex only...you know, the ones with sex organs that are complementary to your own.
Maybe CFA could have made more profit by hiring some of these guys to choke their chickens.
I am currently at a CFA in a mall in Northern NJ.
The CFA has had lines 7 people deep for the past 30 minutes, all registers open.
A couple of other restaurants have no customers, Taco Bell just had their first customer walk up.
I have ONE confirmed lesbian sighting...
I was at the West Palm Beach store on Palm Beach Lakes Road about a half hour ago. It was extremely busy and I purchased 4 yummy sammiches and a chicken and fruit salad.
If someone was trying to make a point for or against any cause I did not see it.
The servers were welcoming and pleasant, I am a customer for life!
We ate at a CFA tonite that’s located within a mall. We were there at the “early bird” hour and there was a line of about 15-20 people waiting, with all registers running. All the tables set up in the adjacent mall area were full. There were a couple tall deuce tables inside that were empty. I think everyone wanted to sit where they could be seen by the passers-by. The rest of the mall was nearly deserted. I swear the only place with more people was the movie theater. No protestors to be seen.
Sure they did - tens of folks showed up to show their support.
Now you know what Christians who have done business with Amazon.com feel like...
As he wipes the poop off his penis...
LOL!
Uh....not quite. Guess again.
re: “”What they are saying is you’re welcome in our restaurant and your money is welcome, but we’re going to turn it around and use it against you,” said protester Tascha Madaffari”
Oh, you mean the owner of the company wishes to send money he earned from his own business to organizations he agrees with (but Tascha doesn’t like)? And, the problem is???
Tascha doesn’t have to eat at Chick-fil-a and she can also send any money she earns to any organization she wants - I don’t see the problem.
re: “ Rollin, a student at Kennesaw State University, who was dressed like Jesus and held a sign that said, “I had two dads and turned out alright.”
I guess Rollin doesn’t know anything about New Testament theology or the Gospel narratives, otherwise he wouldn’t have made such an ass of himself with that sign and costume.
According to Rollin, Jesus had “two daddies” and therefore God and Joseph were homosexual lovers?!! Talk about a spiritual “darwin award” winner - Rollin is it.
Since the dad says he’s straight and the son was dressed as Jesus, I’m thinking the son was referring to both his earthly father and to God the Father. I doubt God was too thrilled with that argument.
Thanks for your post. I have to admit, I totally missed the point this kid was trying to make. I just figured he was claiming to have been raised by two guys, one of them his self-declared “straight” father (or 7, he says). I guess my mind is not oriented toward New Testament gay jokes . . .
No problem. I had to stop and think it through, too, because my initial reaction was the same as yours.
