Romney would back Israeli strike against Iran, senior adviser says

Mitt Romney would back an Israeli military strike against Iran aimed at preventing Tehran from obtaining nuclear capability, a top foreign policy adviser said early Sunday, outlining the aggressive posture the Republican presidential candidate will take toward Iran in a speech in Israel later in the day.

Romney has said he has a "zero tolerance" policy toward Iran obtaining the capability to build a nuclear weapon.

"If Israel has to take action on its own, in order to stop Iran from developing the capability, the governor would respect that decision," foreign policy adviser Dan Senor told reporters ahead of the speech, planned for late Sunday near Jerusalem's Old City.

Romney believes the option of a U.S. attack should also be "on the table."

The Obama administration also hasn't ruled out the military option, and President Barack Obama has so far been relying on sanctions and diplomatic negotiations to discourage Iran from building a nuclear bomb.

For its part, Iran says it is not interested in nuclear weapons and its nuclear program is for peaceful, civilian purposes.

Impossible.

Romney is a carbon copy of Obama.

I read it here.

I hope this is true, and I’m glad Romney himself is not saying it. It should be floated like this, as an indirect attribution.

Let’s see. First we have an Obama man go to Israel to discuss our “contingency” attack plan and that meeting is promptly leaked to the media. Now Romney announces he endorses an attack. Hmmmm.... Just hope someone thought about those sailors who are in big blue water ships patrolling the narrow confines of the Persian Gulf. If shooting starts ( and it is doubtful it will before the election), things can get ugly.

Inevitability is at game here, not political posturing. Let’s say that it gets very ugly in the Persian Gulf as you appear to be wringing your hands over. I would wager that nuclear war is far more ugly, especially considering a EMP strike. Maybe your solution is not to say a thing? The over riding fault in what appears to be your point is Iran’s leaders don’t give a crap about political posturing. They will get it when and only the first MOAB ignites, followed by a rain of bunker busters making tombs of every underground facility.

As a supporter of the Iraq War and toppling Saddam I dare say now that we should have gone after Iran first.

Actually, we had Iran between Iraq and a hard place (Afghanistan). Another Patton moment gone to waste. Then Obama pissed all over the Persians when they got tired of waiting and tried it themselves. Another Patton moment gone to waste, but all the people were looking for was a word of support and the slimy bassturd couldn’t find the courage to even wet his pants on that one.

I would like to see the new Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) 30,000 pound bomb used to kill Ahmanutjob in his presidential palace.

Decapitation strikes are the way to go.

Nutjob is of no consequence if you don’t go after the Mullahs, and I mean go after them right in their mosques because they are command and control centers. When we bombed the Bejesus out of Germany, nobody gave a crap about the churches that happened to get in the way but, nooooo, we have to protect the mosques? After what the mullahs endorse on going after Christians in all other places, especially their churches?

Romney believes the option of a U.S. attack should also be "on the table."

This degenerate coward who comes from a a long family tradition of avoiding service in the military in all wars including WWI and WWII is doing a pretty good job of offering up other American kids lives, (just not his kids), and fooling a lot of simpletons with his tough talk back here in the states.

Al Queda already has nukes, via the "government" in Pakistan.

An Israeli attack against Iran will be pointless and unsuccessful, and any US attack ordered by the KOLOBIAN against Iran will most likely be responded to by targeting US civilians here and abroad in a way that could potentially make 9/11 look like a picnic.

But it's all good, MYTH ROMNEY, he's a real tough guy.
