From the article: "The Justice Department last week presented the Newland family of Colorado--who own Hercules Industries, a heating, ventilation and air-conditioning business--with what amounted to an ultimatum: Give up your religion or your business."
Has to do with just another impact of the ObamaCare mandate on private enterprises, organizations, and individuals.
Under the Obamacare law, businesses that have more than 50 employees must provide health insurance to their employees or face a penalty. To satisfy the mandate.
So., if this keeps on, looks like these types of business could just branch off into say many smaller business employing under 50 people each.
This building doing part of the work, the next building doing next phase and so on. More than one way to skin a cat.
i think this article has been posted 3 times now, so if you’re not getting much response, that might be why.
This story needs continual coverage, IMHO.
[ The Newland family founded Hercules in 1962, and now have 265 employees.

Or just Go Galty and be very public about it, selling everything and retireing and sending the employees away with a severance package.
But I like the idea fo splittign the company up...
Question, if Fluffy the cat can vote according to the DNC, then can Fluffy the cat own part of a factory?
They may have to get a bunch of pets...
Maybe it really is time to take up arms.
I don't see why not. This convoluted society allows people can leave their fortunes to their PETS, & so those pets can INVEST. Hello, my name is FLUFFY.
Problem solved.
this is a forum, not tv. people contribute. if you keep ignoring their contributions, they're not gonna read your threads. I know I won't, if my reply was on the thread before this one.
So if the "story needs continuing coverage", you find the thread and put you 2 cents in there.
At least, that's how it's supposed to work. If everyone wants his own thread, let him start a blog.
Sometimes extra threads can benefit those who don’t freep constantly, though. I hadn’t seen this, and I’m sure I’m not alone. This whole site moves such a massive amount of data so fast, it is difficult to keep up, absent 24/7 freeping.
I agree we should minimize them, but on some important issues, extra threads can increase exposure and dissemination. If it get’s out of hand, the mods can always step in.
JMHO. Of course, given how many outrages worthy of multiple threads are produced per day in these times, you also have a viable argument.
Wouldnt it be a whole lot easier for you just to ignore the thread if youre not interested in seeing it again? I hadnt seen it before so was glad it was posted again. If someone posts it again Ill thank them again since this type of information needs to reach as many as possible and not all read everything every day. If you are the designated thread police I suppose you can stop repeat postings. If not,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,well,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I’d prefer it if you ignore me.
What is happening in this country is incredible.
