There is a difference between Amazon and Chik-fil-a, although slight. Amazon’s FOUNDERS are giving the money, it’s not coming from the company itself, wherein the traditional marriage policy is that of the Chik-fil-a company AND the founder. I won’t stop shopping at Amazon, there are many employees and most likely many with views in line with mine, why punish them?
Really wish the founder of Amazon had kept his opinion to himself.
There is some reason in your decision. However, I would first expect current Amazon to disavow or disassociate itself with its founder’s action.
I don’t think it’s a company policy. The owner of the company was asked his oppinion and he gave it. There are gays working there and if two of them wanted to get married, if they’re in a state that recognizes gay marriage, the company would not fire them.
What this crap is all about is not being able to have an oppinion. It’s the thought police in action. And remember, the tables could turn and you would be punished for your oppinion that you just posted.
You really have to quit being reasonable. See post 37
