WASHINGTON (AP) -- The White House says President Barack Obama is not pushing for new gun control legislation even though he still supports a ban on assault weapons. Spokesman Jay Carney says Obama intends to focus on other ways to combat violence.
Carney's comments Thursday are the latest sign that Obama won't engage lawmakers in a drive for new laws, bowing to congressional opposition to additional gun restrictions.

Not seeking new gun laws but will overturn the 2nd Amendment with the stroke of a pen as was done with federal immigration law.
Great Leader does not govern by the laws, therefore why would he seek a lawful means to his ends? Nor does this mean the Second Amendment is safe under his watch.
He better not, if he knows what’s good for him.

No, Obama’s going to screw Americans with the UN Treaty on Small Arms and get it passed by a lame duck Senate after November. That’s Barry’s and Hillary’s plan.
This guy is self-destructing day by day. Why don’t his handlers step in and impose a little discipline on the campaign? Makes me think there might be something to the theories that he wants to lose.
Today, he will let the U.N. camel’s nose under the American tent.
If he wins re-election, he will use that wedge to impose gun control.

Either the UN or the little coward will have the USDA declared bullets a toxin or OSHA declare them a “workplace environment hazard” ala Major Hassan at Ft Hood, and abolish them.

I got excited when I saw Obama not seeking new....but then it said gun laws and not term.
Oh well....
And, IMO we’ll see about that. Obama’s ENTIRE term thus far, has been “I’M NOT GOING TO DO THIS”, all the while, he is doing exactly that. He’s a freakin magician....distracting with one hand, and robbing you blind and screwing you over, with the other.
