Oh BTW, nanny lovers need to remember that when you go after one group eventually it will come around to you....First it was smokers....now it is soda drinkers and tonight I heard on Fox News that Bloomy is going after alcoholic beverages.....who is next after that? I don’t think anybody is safe. Safe to see America going down this road.

There is no “pro” argument for this ban. IT’S NONE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S FLIPPIN BUSINESS!

Part of the American ideal is the right to be left alone, and to have commerce with like-minded individuals and businesses in an environment of non-interference by the state.

These idiotic, arbitrarily authoritarian social engineers are un-American at their core, and they don't even realize it. However well-meaning they may be, they have become blinded by their own arrogance and conceit.

This nanny-state mentality must be rebuked wherever and whenever it appears, and its enablers repudiated as the anti-patriotic petty Tyrants that they are...

No different from banning beer! Any argument to the contrary is sophistry.

You can choose to murder a baby in the womb, but you can’t choose the size of the soda you want to drink.

Because you can only buy 16oz cups of soda, and people will just buy more then one, when does the tax kick in for each cup of soda purchased?

Can I still buy a two liter bottle? I don't even drink regular soda but I'd be willing to buy a two liter of Pepsi and bring my own straw to a protest.

My friend used to drink Pepsi with milk. Yuck. But does this make it a dairy beverage so can she get a big gulp?

Watch this change into a “tax law”....just like cigarettes.....say 5 cents per ounce.

The very thought of even having this conversation should scare the hell out of people.

When you have a government telling people what you can eat, drink, smoke, etc. You have tyranny. PERIOD!

IF the people of New York had any balls they would have Bloomberg strung up by his balls. But hey, they get what they deserve if they do nothing.
