99ers, EBT, TANF, Section 8, Obamaphones, cash for clunkers, unlimited subsidized student loans, yeah they might well be better off.

The tipping point approaches....

Technically, I am better off than I was 4 years ago. Yet, the follow up question should be do you think it will last? Or, what is your outlook for the next 4 years with Obama?

But presently, 85% understand that it's Bush's fault. /s

Yeah, four years ago they had a job they had to go to. But now, they get a Bridge Card, a phone with free minutes, and subsidized housing. What more could you ax for?

funny you mention that, I was asked at a "group thing" that if I could do anything I wanted, what would it be.

most answered with money/sex stuff.

I said I wanted to walk from coast to coast with a .22 rifle for food. The instructor looked at me like I was crazy and said " that ain't happen'en"

so much for dreams.......

I am much better off, but only because I left the USSA 10 years ago.
Just the thought of being back there scares the H out of me.

"The Fox News poll is based on landline and cell phone interviews with 901 randomly-chosen registered voters nationwide and is conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from July 15 to July 17. For the total sample, it has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points."

And the R, D, I mix is?????

Phone poll, registered not likely voters, all the subquestions favor Romney, yet it shows Obama leading. I think it’s good for Romney.

So what?
Sounds like all the "Obamastash" voters.

I wonder when citizens will realize that they should establish minimum standards for qualification for public office.
Also for voting. Just write the test in ebonics, if that disarms the race pimps. I can deal with that.

Who are the 37%?

Barack Obama’s illegal alien relatives and other illegals, queers and lesbo’s, union members, Affirmative Action government employees and Michelle Obama.

37%

That would consist of the 31% of the country who are hard-core Democrats and who will lie about anything, and the 6% of people who actually ARE better off.

These poll results are obviously skewed to the 'Rats for at least two very good reasons:

(1) The methodology, random phone calls, is likely to oversample 'Rats as a percentage of the registered voters, because a larger percentage of them are likely to be at home and able to answer the phone. That advantage is amplified by the fact that the poll is being conducted in vacation season and one of the polling days was a Sunday.

(2) As the poll indicates, Republicans generally have a significant enthusiasm margin which undoubtedly will translate to a larger percentage of Republican registered voters going to the polls in November than Democrat registered voters. In other words, polling "registered voters" undercounts Republicans as compared to polling "Likely voters."

Intuitively, when you take these factors into account and factor in the axiom that the majority of the undecideds break strongly for the challenger vs. the incumbent, Romney is likely ahead.
