NBC News has acquired full control of msnbc.com and its digital network from Microsoft Corp. and is immediately rebranding the site as NBCNews.com. "Acquired" my ass. Microsoft ditched PMSNBC last week over their increasingly radical politics.

Personally, I suspect they are just cutting their losses on this money-losing operation. Doesn't the Aquarium Channel get higher ratings?
