I really think it is time for a conservative party. We thought we had one in the GOP, but it is increasingly evident that is not the case. If ever there was a time that a third party could succeed, this is it and Palin is the one who could do it. It would be a tough go but Sarah puts her faith in God and that is the sure way to success. Her path would be frought with peril but she will have an army of angels watching her back and a nation of God-loving people praying for her.

You are right about that. This election is probably the toughset to lose in the history of the United States. However, I do believe that the Republican Party will demonestrate that it is up to the challenge.

In 1992 Jmes Dobson said on the radio the overheard one Republican Party bigwig say to another,"I would rather see a Democrat win than us have to win with a bunch of people driving pick up trucks with gun racks in the back." The guy he mentioned denied saying that but Dobson said that he was there when he said it.

But in the 2010 elections, I learned by observing that the Republican Elites would prefer a Democrat to win rather than a Tea Party supported candidate. When confronted with that fact, they and their judas goats on this forum would respond with either:1. "They [Tea Party supported candidate]were a weak candidate." 2. "They[Tea Party supported candidate]ran a weak campaing."

That is neither here nor there now. But what is here and now is like my brother put it when were having a conversation about two weeks ago on who to vote for he stated" Remember back when we registered to vote and registered Democrat and the Democrats left us and we went to the Republican Party?" I replied I do. Then he continued,"Well is seems like the Republican Party has left us also". I responded, It looks like it to me.

You miss the point: it’s not Romney’s convention. A much more insidious force is behind the exclusion of Palin: the GOP.

You really think that Romney is just another attendee? The convention will bow to his demands, or he likely would hold his own convention.

Now if we still actually elected our candidates at the convention like we use too, then that would be cool, but we don't.

If Mittens wins and he pulls out his radical economic and social thing

Oh, I don't think that is likely if the TEApublicans continue to grow their ranks....However, if we were to wind up with the Romulan AND a RAT Congress....

That is pretty much what I have been saying. They would rather that the dem win over the conservative candidate. The 2008 and 2010 elections should have been real eye openers for conservative voters. The rino establishment had no problems with Mccain losing to Barry, just so that Palin did not get to win. Apparently there were no gloom and doom scenrios, or guilt trips associated with that loss.
