Huge swing back to GOP from April on this seat.
Obamacare went down like a lead ballon in Florida. Hopefully Connie can remove that cancer Nelson double asap.

Assuming these figures are accurate this is big...big for several reasons, including taking the Senate *and* measuring the possible sentiment toward Osama Obama.

Looking good. Let’s hope we can move the Florida race in the Gain column soon after the primary if this holds up.

Margin of error or just plain error. The race is fairly close and probably won't move much until after the primary.
If Connie makes it to the Senate he'll fit right in. The only question is when he'll come out for gay marriage.

killer line : Mack draws 86% support from voters in his own party, while Nelson is backed by just 66% of the state’s Democrats.

I’d like to see confirmation from another poll before celebrating. Mack had *not* been polling well recently.

There was a Quinnipiac from June 23 which had Nelson 43%, Mack 39%, and one from June 27 which had Nelson 41%, Mack 40%. Still a lot of people undecided.
An incumbent polling around only 40% in three polls a few weeks apart is not going to get the job done.

The implications for the national race are obvious; less obvious are the negative implications for any vice presidential hopes nurtured by Barack Obama.
My guess is we are seeing a break across the country against Obama and the Democrats judging from these data and the news favoring a big bulge for Republicans among independents , the recent modest move nationally by Romney over Obama according to Rasmussen, and the polls showing voters favor congressional Republicans over congressional Democrats.

Correction: I meant to refer to the vice presidential hopes of Marco Rubio, if any.
Forgive the brain lock.

Okay Mack leads by 11 and Nelson is under 40 and this makes Florida close? Don’t think so!
