The way liberals see it, the Supreme Court’s four liberal justices often side with conservatives on major cases. Why, then, don’t we see outrage from liberals when one of their justices breaks rank, as we saw with conservatives when Chief Justice John Roberts voted to uphold the constitutionally of Obamacare? In fact, it’s hard to think of any examples of liberals being outraged at liberal justices for crossing the ideological divide.

Liberals start from a position where America’s heritage, Christian heritage, tradition, legal precedent, natural law and common sense are all against them.

Thus while they hope to win, they don’t really expect to win any single battle. There strategy is more of death by a thousand cuts.

The five Justices, which now included Roberts, are not liberal but they are now and have been activists judges. That is one hell of a difference and they have a disrespect for the limitations of the Constitution.

There are no complaints because the “liberal” justices are always working for The Cause, 24/7. They take the long view.

The Right has been on the defense since 1964, so a few “victories” are irrelevant in the long term, from their viewpoint.
