Project could have lessened fire damage ( Ecos delayed forest thinning )

Forest Service official: Environmental groups delayed thinning.

Damage from the Little Bear Fire could have been reduced if a proposed Forest Service thinning project had not been delayed by an appeal from two environmental groups, a Forest Service official said Tuesday.

"Any type of treatment we could have done would have reduced the severity of the fire," said Chad Stewart, fire and timber officer for the Lincoln National Forest. While the fire as a whole could not have been stopped by thinning efforts, especially in the face of 40 mph wind gusts, damage to the Bonito watershed likely would have been greatly reduced, he said.

The thinning project, aimed at 11,600 acres surrounding Bonito Lake was delayed by an appeal from the two environmental groups in late 2011.

0bmama cut the budget and cut 19 air tankers. Serria club sued the forest service to stop cleaning up 100,000 acres of blown down. Pine beetles were picked up on radar they came out of there so thick. Wasn't it the ELF people (Earth liberation Front) that burned down several places in Colorado and elsewhere?

Anyone losing property in this fire should sue these groups into oblivion.

It is hard to imagine a good enough reason not thin out forest areas and clear out the brush. My grandparents did this yearly to specifically prevent fires. It also keeps hunting trails clear and just plain looks better.

“Anyone losing property in this fire should sue these groups into oblivion.”

This is how we beat the left. Bankrupt them.

Reagan did it to the Soviets and it worked. We need to learn from Reagan. We should be doing this to the ACLU, PETA, and every other left wing group.

Look up Earth First/Sierra Club involvement in “Turtle Island”. Then, after you stop laughing, look up “Turtle Island” in the paperwork of Agenda 21.

Then, after you come to the realization that they are serious, get the overlay maps, current and projected showing areas placed off limits to human use/mining/forrestry ect.

Then marvel at how it looks a whole lot exactly like ‘Turtle Island”.

Finally, Ask your family if they will be one of the 300000 people that the Greens and UN (under Agenda 21’s “Turtle Island”) provision allowed to live in America.

Unless people understand that A21 and all these bizzarre green suits are part of a population reduction program, there is little hope of ending it. And no, Art Bell has nothing to do with it.

When are enough people going to wake up a realize that these greenies are nothing more than power hungry mongrels? All they want is control, period. The rest of us are simply lumps of clay for them to mold.

At one time during the 1980's 12 billion board feet of lumber was cut yearly on federal land. That is 12,000,000,000 bf.

By the end of the Clinton years that amount was less than 1 billion board feet.

Part of the money from timber sales then went into the US Treasury was earmarked for fighting forest fires.

The wackos stopped timber sales, then stopped timber management, then the dead timber builds up for the devastating fires.

Then surprise, surprise no money and no equipment to fight the fires.

Enviro Wackos + liberal politicians + liberal courts = Stuck on Stupid for managing a huge renewable resource.

Commie environuts groups are a public danger. This confirms there mission is to destroy and not save Mother Earth ,, they seek to depopulate and control it.

The State of Colorado should sue those groups for the impact of the Carbon Dioxide released by those fires. That would be poetic justice.

I live in NJ; my in-laws live in Montana. When I tell people around here about “controlled burns” they think I’m nuts. There are a lot of people who have no clue what life is like outside of the big city.

You bet they're pushing Agenda 21. I have no doubt at all these fires will even slow down these enviro-nazis and their destruction of our way of life.

A video of a HBO program “The Newsroom”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16K6m3Ua2nw&feature=youtu.be

I am certain this will shock you as much as it did me. After viewing it, I was struck asking myself, “Have people in Hollywood finally woken up?” This had to have the permission of the top level string pullers in Hollywood and New York. Does this mean they have finally seen through the wasted hours supporting Agenda 21 and the New World Order programs? Is green energy going to die a calm, quiet death, as it should?

Keep the small kids away when you view it. Yes, of course there has to be adult language in it. How else would it grab our attention?

Hollyweird will give up collectivism only when it is clearly bankrupting them and an outraged citizenry demands they be tried for treason.

The destruction of the West is a no risk situation for the collectivists/enviros. The fires Will permanently remove populations.

A friend took me to the sites of homes burned out years ago, and not all that far from Evergreen, Colorado. They were a tad west of Denver, but in the mountains.

What was once a nice location was a burned out wasteland, years later.
