“The school which alarmed Holmes was the New Village Leadership Academy in Calabasa, California, which received $1.2million from Smith as a donation.
Though the school is secular, it does have ties to Scientology and uses study technology, which was created by Hubbard.”

Don’t Sea Org members have to dress like Dick Cavett in navy blazers and nautical caps?

My family is 100 percent against divorce. However in this case even I make an exception with Katie Holmes. Thank God she is getting away from Tom Cruise and his freakish religion.

Yeah, but her’s and her daughter’s lives are going to be tough and dangerous for a long time to come. This outfit does not take well at all to defectors.

members pledge their allegiance for one billion yearsI was invited to join the Sea Org, too.
But I had a commitment for the year 312,445,212 that I just could not break. So I regretfully turned them down......

If the allegations of conduct are true the group should be suppressed.

He bought several small ships and staffed them with a young crew of Scientologists and reportedly went looking for treasure he had hidden in a previous life.
The "young crew" wasn't too bright, were they?

This is nothing more than a cult with 3 piece suits. I know someone that joined up and they promised him the moon. He ended up cleaning bathrooms in Arizona

Where is Janet Reno now that we need her?!
To: RummyChick
I lived near the Scientology building in LA and had to deal extensively with the Sea Org folks on a Neighborhood Watch group I set up. They are very, very strange people. And I don’t mean that in a good way.
To: MIchaelTArchangel
Janet Reno would not have bothered a group with lots of money, and a demonstrated ability to infiltrate government agencies which annoyed them.

They’re evil ... they prey on the gullible and the emotionally insecure (gee ... actors? Gullible and emotionally insecure??? Ya think?) ... if they didn’t dress up their idiocy in religious trappings, nobody would bat an eye at calling it fraud.

Clinton was too busy currying favor with travolta for Primary Colors. Sandy Berger briefed Travolta like a Senior Senator.
