U.S. Secret Service officers shut down a student-led protest calling for President Obama to fire Attorney General Eric Holder this morning, according to a report from in front of the White House. After discovering a “suspicious package,” the Secret Service ended the protest. “Several agents seemed hostile to our march and seemed anxious for us to leave the area,” Maurice Lewis, a University of California student, told Campus Reform . “The discover[y of] the ‘unidentified package’ came just as the protest began gain traction.”

Can the Secret Service Tell You To Shut Up?

Can the Secret Service Tell You To Shut Up?
Townhall.com ^ | March 15, 2012 | Judge Andrew Napolitano

Last week, President Obama signed into law the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011. This law permits Secret Service agents to designate any place they wish as a place where free speech, association and petition of the government are prohibited. And it permits the Secret Service to make these determinations based on the content of speech.

Thus, federal agents whose work is to protect public officials and their friends may prohibit the speech and the gatherings of folks who disagree with those officials or permit the speech and the gatherings of those who would praise them, even though the First Amendment condemns content-based speech discrimination by the government. The new law also provides that anyone who gathers in a "restricted" area may be prosecuted. And because the statute does not require the government to prove intent, a person accidentally in a restricted area can be charged and prosecuted, as well.

I am very suspicious of this claim of a suspicious package!

Watch ‘suspicious packages’ being found at all sorts of protests and Tea Parties.

No doubt about it.

Y'all I'm with the Secret Service on this one. They have one heck of a job. Can you imagine being tasked with protecting The Messiah and his family. I have no doubt that the threats to them are 10 times what they have faced before.

When the Republicans gain control of the government it is going to be even worse.

Give these guys a break, their job is to put their body between whom ever is in the Office of The President and any threat of any kind to his safety. They are as much an American hero as our military in the field. Let them do their jobs.

Heydrich was on the verge of exposing Admiral Canaris, head of the Abwehr (military intelligence) at that time. Canaris was actively involved in passing intelligence to the Allies. Once the British got wind of this, they arranged to have Heydrich wacked.

Admiral Canaris was hanged next to Dietrich Bonhoeffer just before the Allies reached the Flossenberg concentration camp.

Canaris was a good man.

I wonder how ordinary Germans view him...as a Patriot, or as a traitor?

Heydrich was an assh*le of the first magnitude. I always get a particular satisfaction reading the events of his final moments.

There’s something satisfying when a murdering b*stard thug gets whacked - to me, it’s even more gratifying than having them put on trial. Felt the same way when Ceacescu of Romania was shot.

Daresay I’d feel that way if some Cuban exPat finally got to Castro and did some ballistic cranial surgey on him.

Agreed! One even gave us a wink and a nod at an anti-Clinton protest. Wherever He is today, I LOVE THAT GUY!

At first glance I assumed it was Devil Anse’s picture photoshopped in. It looks more like Cooper than Cooper does.

“Sharp uniforms, though.”

They should be, the Nazis hired the best fashion designers of the time to design their uniforms.

The name Hugo Boss ring a bell?
