What happened, happened. We need to quit looking back and look ahead to what we CAN do. Our founders could have taken one look at the legions of British troops & run the other way. They didn’t .... they took shots, one at a time from behind stone walls, trees, barns, etc. This ‘we’ve been screwed .... waaaahhhhh!’ is getting on my nerves more than what Roberts did on Thursday. Roberts wounded the country and the determination to shoot ourselves in the other foot by surrendering to the Left is ..... un-American. If we lose the country, it will be self-inflicted.

Thanks for the pep talk, Miss M. To be honest, though, my thoughts were already trending in the direction of sniping our enemies from behind cover. I'll bet I'm not alone... in contemplating this most American of traditions.

I do, however, take issue with the "self-inflicted" part. There is a significant amount of enemy action afoot.

I agree there is a significant amount of ‘enemy action’ afoot .... but I’ll also stand by my comment that if we lose the country, it will be self-inflicted. We know the enemy, we know what we have to do .... Libs do not outnumber Conservatives in this country, last poll I saw on the subject. Up until now, they’ve been willing to take off the gloves and fight for what they want, they’ve been the loud squeaky wheel that’s gotten the grease ..... we need to do the same (take the gloves off, not ‘make nice’ & expect them to reciprocate in kind) and more.
