This is a key...

{”Look at what happened to the Americans in Afghanistan and in Iraq. I told Obama the same thing,” the visiting president said in a meeting with his Israeli counterpart, cautioning against hasty military action. “There is no need to do things too quickly; one should not act without thinking first.” }

{I told Obama} Interesting..........

Merci.

The U.S. experience in Iraq was victory, as Putin knows perfectly well, and as he also knows perfectly well, Iran is where it is in terms of nuclear development due in a great measure to technology the Russians sold them, installed, and maintained until the place started to look like it was being photographed through cross-hairs a bit too often. To a great degree the entire region is the geopolitical disaster zone that it is due to incompetent Soviet/Russian meddling. We wouldn't be taking advice from an expert here.

Were our own current administration not populated by fools I'd reply simply that we'll do what we can to prevent an attack if Russia does what it can to prevent Iranian nuclear weapons - no lip service, no meaningless international psychodrama, real actions that the Russians absolutely can take if they've a mind to do so.

I suspect, however, that it is more in Russian interest to take advantage of the ridiculous collection of time-servers and academic cloud-cuckoo-land dwellers that are currently guiding U.S. foreign policy, in order to get what the Russians can out of the standoff, and this includes "advice" such as this from someone who is most certainly not our friend.

Learned for his Master Andropov and Brezniev.

COMMUNIST IS COMMUNIST!!!

With weak Washington and economical crisis, Putin and others know when and how to deal with things.

I feel 21 December is a joke, this looks like a speed train for war.

Merci.

urging Israel Monday to learn from negative US experience in Afghanistan and Iraq.

If I remember correctly, the Russians didn’t do all that well in Afghanistan themselves.

Ave.

Yes, by moving quietly in arena, they same time building armies of not necessarily of conflict, more Geo political equation of check mate, and now we make decisions.

Russia doesn’t want to loose Syria, it is not only strategic arena for them as well, they have spent huge amount of resources in there. Some think that Syria is their only base, nonsense, with billions dollars of military investments in Iran, with A-400 systems as well advance IAD, Putin wants to make sure Russia is still a supplier of weapons to Mid Asia.

With Egypt now lost and Libya, Russia is making their move.
China is something to watch for it as well, since they are heavily investing in Africa Continent, this is not coincidence, but well strategic moves, and Washington is preoccupied with homosexual behavior.

This is friend different version of colonization, this time with nuclear, biological, chemical weapons behind. In different way economical franchise with attitude.

Merci.

With a nice glazing, there is no issue.

There is no comparison. Iran has their agenda and they are straight forward about it. They are generating nuclear power for peaceful purposes.

Very true, and very important.

The Chinese are moving swiftly to re-establish themselves in Libya. There are all sorts of shifts and power struggles going on.
