Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t the volt based on the Cruze?
and wasn’t the Volt’s problem due to it;s Lithium battery?

I don’t watch television, but my wife does, and she was watching the Olympic trials...I saw several commercials for the Chevy Cruze, and they were touting the J.D. Power award for safety!
I guess the J.D. Power award for safety means as much as the Nobel Peace Prize, or the Pulizer Prize.

Perhaps the car should be renamed The Torch.

GM is actually advertising the Volt on TV as “The Hottest Car in America”. I kid you not.

It will be much worse when Americans who suffer 3rd degree burns when their Government Motors cars burst into flames are forced to seek care from the other GM, Government Medical.

Supposedly the GM compact car that would finally compete with the Japanese brands. Another POS car from GM. Cruze = Citation, hee hee.

This is a Cruze that went on fire:
Though in this case, the fire apparently started in the trunk and is not related to the recall, it does make one wonder if that's the next recall.

What is it with GM and small cars catching fire? They need to stick with what they have been successful at, building tricks and SUV’s.
