For Team Obama, this story is all about politics.

But for the family of Brian Terry, it’s the story of their son — murdered with guns given to killers by his own government. Yet many mainstream news consumers never heard of it until this week. According to Media Research Center, the first time NBC mentioned the story was last week.

For the Terry family, it has been a year and a half of lies, obfuscation and stonewalling. They just want to know what happened to their son — the kind of son who, before he died on Dec. 14, had already bought and mailed them Christmas gifts.

His brother-in-law tells the rest:

“We buried him not far from the house that he was raised in just prior to Christmas day. The gifts that Brian had picked out with such thought and care began to arrive in the mail that same week. With each delivery, we felt the indescribable pain of Brian’s death.”

“’But, I do fear the loss of my honor and would rather die fighting than to have it said that I was without courage. So I will fight you, no matter how insurmountable it may seem, to the death if need be, in order that it may never be said of me that I was not a warrior.’ -Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry”

Lord, help us bring justice so these fine men can Rest in Peace.

If he had been gay, there would have been outrage. If he had been called a “slut” by a conservative talk show host, there would have been outrage. If he had been asked for identification by the Sheriff’s office of Mariposa County, again plenty of outrage....or a black hoodlum, or an illegal immigrant....etc. etc.

But hey, just a border patrol.....can’t get worked up about that....especially if it reflects badly on the ‘king’.

I’ve written to both Carl Levin and Debbie stabenow and asked that as Senators from Terry’s home state, they stand with the Terry family who deserve justice.

Damn straight, it is.

It's laughable how talk of Brian Terry's murder is political to Preezy Obamugabe's jug ears (as well as all his stooges'), but the dialogue over the murder of his Skittles eating homeboy, Trayvon Martin, isn't political.

If I try to get my head around that cognitive dissonance, I fear it'll explode in an ugly mess.
