“Get your kids OUT of public schools.”
Of course there is absolutely NO danger that children in Charter Schools, or home schooled will NEVER encounter such problems. What if Sanduski’s kids had been home schooled? Home schooling is an excellent way to keep children away from outsiders to whom they might report abuse. I was speaking with a man yesterday whose girls, early teens, were in a private charter school. He said the teacher told the class girls could make more money as strippers than as college graduates. The angry father said to me, “What kind of message does that give to young girls, or to young boys for that matter.” The teacher left that school and is now working in a private religious connected academy.
We are responsible for ourselves and any offspring—(Freedom). It is the duty of all parents to raise and nurture their offspring. (All studies have found that biological parents are the safest for children—both physically and emotionally. The genetic factor creates a probability of concern higher than if no genetic link with maternal instinct and father protective instincts).
Orphanages were always horrid places for children with ton of abuse and killings. Non parent custodial situations always have high abuse levels.
Government can never protect all people or children. It is true-—if the populace is non-Virtuous-—there can be no freedom. Government would have to intervene in all areas.
Government has limited duties-—and it is not parenting or interfering with the ideology of the parents and their right to raise their own children with their own ideology. It is the fundamental meaning of freedom.
Government should encourage Virtue in all areas through Rule of Law (Justice which is a Virtue). All government laws should encourage parents to do their Duty (Natural Law Theory) and that includes no welfare, socialist state which creates dependent, immature, immoral people. It also means getting rid of no-fault divorce which destroys the marriage contract-—the laws have to create for the general welfare a situation which rewards people who take care of their own progeny and discourages out of wedlock births—etc.—Vice can never be supported or encouraged by Just Law.
Will some children get damaged and abused by their parents. Yes. It is human nature-—but it is far safer for children to be cared for by their own family than strangers who don’t have a genetic interest in their future.
It is not the job of government to educate the children-—that belongs to the parents and the government needs to get out of the way and create Just Law which rewards the Good and discourages Evil.
J.S.Mill said-—never allow government into the schools-—their only purpose would be to make slaves for the State. (That is what the ACORN goons and OWS thugs are——ignorant drones blindly following orders). Same with all the Democrats popping out of university brainwashing sewers-—they have no intellectual development—know none of Plato, Socrates, Hayek, Locke, Hegel, Marx-—they understand NOTHING so they can think logically.
