Precisely my point! When hearing the phrase, lying about sex, people don't hear the "lying" part.

Impeachment has no meaning anymore.

Issa gives every indication that contempt vote will happen today, i.e. after these longwinded speeches...now back to DC RAT: let’s postpone, let’s postpone, why can’t we postpone...

Brother Cummings interrupts, let’s all give Holder a break, he’s so overworked with all these requests for emails...completely in Holder / Obama’s pocket

ok that’s it for me, all the RATs are going to blubber, then they’ll have the vote

and I hope you are right..we may continue this conversation later. Heard someone on Fox say that contempt charges against Holder would bring a maximum fine of 1,000 dollars and up to 1 yr in prison.
If it ends up in a long constitutional debate...time may play a big role. I hope there is another Woodward and Bernstein in the woodpile that is out to get Obama and Holder.

oh my:

“What could be so sensitive and harmful which responsible redacting couldn’t protect?

“If there is an anti-gun sentiment showing up in the documents, own up to it! Embrace it! State unequivocally the viewpoint that guns and ammo in the hands of the public is bad for the country!”

(cue Lyndon Johnson, “when we’ve lost the DUmp, we’ve lost the country”)

—I wonder what Obama is thinking right now. Is he thinking, “Oh sh!t...I am done.” or what. Must be quite a scene in the White House.—

I seriously doubt Biden will run for president.

If he doesn’t then Hillary win and a Romney vs. Hillary run will not be easy to beat. We have an easier time beating Obama right now than Hillary.

“This is turning out to be a chess match and Holder/Obama is losing.”

This has always been a chess match and frankly I think well played by Issa all along. Rumor has it he already has the documents in his possession, he just needs the confirmation. The claim of EP is almost a confession that they know the documents are in Issa’s possession.

Some people here are a little impatient and would like to see justice done to this regime, and I share their sentiments. But it’s politics, and it is a chess match. A good chess match looks long, tedious and boring, but a true master has patience and foresight. He has to use those qualities, even if the opponent can barely play Candyland.

Issa has been setting things up one move at a time. There is still plenty of time before the election for this to play out one blow by blow. Those who say Congress won’t impeach are correct; while Congress might vote Articles of Impeachment, there is no way 0bama or Holder lose the trial in the democrat controlled Senate. So the democrats who say F & F is all political are correct, because the political remedy of the election in November is the only remedy available.

Chaffetz is doing a masterful, passionate job of framing the issues.

The vote will probably be along party lines, but the Dems of both houses will soon have to make unpleasant choices.

Now up —Edolphus Towns of NY—another one of Holder’s people, attacking the “process” instead of the issue at hand.

My, my, how the Dems railed about Nixon and the media too.
But they cannot bring themselves to admit the obvious.

First of all Nixon was not impeached. He resigned. Secondly republicans did not win the election after Nixon resigned. Ford, who was Speaker of the House, was named president after the resignation. As president he pardoned Nixon which made the electorate mad and they elected Carter to replace him.

“Watergate was kindergarten stuff compared to what this administration has been up to.”

####

And the Clintons, and LBJ and Kennedy. Pretty much ANY Democrat administration of the last 50 years.

And yes, keep countering the brainwashing job the CommieMedia has done EVEN ON SOME FREEPERS, concerning the significance of the basically trivial Watergate story.

Let’s give this a name:

It has; Fast and Furious. This scandal will put all the hyphen-gates to rest. It is it's own name and it will be infamous.

And since when is Eric Holder the POTUS? You would only use the Executive Privilege defense if obie himself was implicated or guilty of something in F&F.

And if that's the case, then it's time to hold holder in contempt and move on to impeachment for obie.
