Republican Congressman Denny Rehberg remains slightly ahead of Democratic incumbent Jon Tester in Montanas U.S. Senate race.
The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Rehberg with 49% support to 47% for Tester. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, while another two percent (2%) are undecided.

This is a cliffhanger. I had expected Rehberg to be farther ahead.
You forgot to factor in Voter fraud.
Come on Montana!
Yep too close. It’s sad that Montana is slipping away a bit, the Gov. is a Rat as well.
My guess is that a lot of people from California have moved into the Big Sky Country.
This is good news. I wonder what the turnout will be in Montana?
I imagine that turnout will be up across the country. This is the most important Presidential election that’s occured in my lifetime.
When is the election? I’m from Wisconsin, we have them monthly it seems.
I usually take the day after election day off (for celebrating or commiserating, either way I stay up too late)...but there have too many this year.
What has changed since 2010? Very little. The winds are still blowing conservative and GOP. Rehberg will take this seat away from Tester. Romney will have coattails in Montana and several other states as well. Many who sat on the sidelines in ‘08 will turn out to evict the radical Oblamo. While they are at it, they will vote for Rehberg who has represented Montana’s at-large district in the US House for several terms. Count on it.
I fully suspect that the GOP will have a great cycle this time around. My pessimism stems from the fact that our culture has degraded to a point where any actual solutions to our fiscal mess will be met with anarchy. Maybe we (individually) win that battle, maybe we don’t, either way there will be far fewer of us remaining on both sides when the dust settles. We live in interesting times...times where it is good to be old.
Look for stubby to suddenly become pro-life and to throw Obama under the bus...
Anything to get re-elected!
Probably true, although the two that I know of that left Kalifornia for Montana would kill themselves before voting for Obama
Tester ran as a conservative but didn’t “walk the walk”, voted with Obama 95% of the time, hope the good people of Montana don’t get fooled again.
This nation is in deep sh*t if the US Senate Seat in Montana is a “cliffhanger”!
47% is still terrible for an incumbent, and Tester remains a fluke win. Rehberg will win.
I agree.
I think Rehberg (and Berg) will in the Senate. Even if they win more narrowly than we thought at first. (And Reberg was never far ahead in the polls was he?)
