Border Patrol union demands Holder’s resignation over Fast and Furious

The National Border Patrol Council — the union that represents Border Patrol agents around the country — demanded Attorney General Eric Holder’s resignation over Operation Fast and Furious on Monday.

According to the Arizona Daily Star, the union deliberated for over a year before making this call for Holder to step down.

“This is something that all of our guys are concerned about, because they know it could be any one of them,” Shawn Moran, a union vice president, said according to the Arizona paper.

“We take the risks that are out there naturally just being in law enforcement working across from Mexico in the condition it’s in right now,” Moran said. “But what you can’t accept is when your own government is allowing weapons into the hands of the people you’re confronting.”

The National Border Patrol Council represents about 3,700 agents in Arizona and 17,000 nationwide and it joins presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, 129 House Republicans, five Senate Republicans and two sitting GOP governors in demanding Holder’s resignation. No elected Democrats have called for Holder to resign, but many Democrats nationwide want Holder gone too. New polling data released last week by Rasmussmen Reports shows 21 percent of likely Democratic voters believe Holder should resign over the scandal and 33 percent are unsure. Forty-five percent — less than half — of likely Democratic voters think Holder should stay in office, according to the poll.

If the National Border Patrol Council is calling for Holder to resign, it shows that he is in very serious trouble. They would only do this if they are pretty sure that he will be gone.

Given the numbers shown, it is disturbingly evident that the enemy within the USA has grown to ultra dangerous proportions. Thank you public education./sarc

This affirmative action head of the Just-Us department has proven time and time again he is one of the biggest racists in the country and his selective prosecution and protection of HIS people is criminal, a direct attack on the US Constitution, and an attack on the citizens of the USA yet the enemy within, approaching the 50% mark, do not want him removed. Hell he should be removed in shackles along with his boss.

“If the National Border Patrol Council is calling for Holder to resign, it shows that he is in very serious trouble. They would only do this if they are pretty sure that he will be gone.”

So they wouldn’t have said/done ANYTHING about one of their own unless/until they thought Holder would actually be gone?

Yes, that is my take on it. They have had 16 months to make a statement, and they waited until now.

Holder's the one with the greatest power (and clearly no compunction about abusing it). Not "one of their own".

I meant Agent Terry.

The Union wouldn’t bark about his death until Holder was on the ropes?

Apparently they’ve been afraid of what Holder might do in retaliation.

If he still manages to hang on after this, he’ll retaliate in plain view.

Obama and his henchmen are the new law of the land.

Dear Representative Gardner:
Dear Senator Udall:
Dear Senator Bennet:

Let's call Fast and Furious, Castaway, "Grenade Walker" and "Cash Walker" what they are. State-sponsored terrorism.

On this side of the border they are violations of the RICO Act. In Mexico and Honduras it is state-sponsored terrorism.

What else would you call heavily arming international criminal syndicates within foreign countries wherein those countries are in a death struggle with those syndicates?

Especially when it goes beyond thousands of assault rifles to include grenades, RPGs, shoulder fired rockets, anti-aircraft guns, night vision equipment, body armor and special deals to bring their drugs onto our soil with legal impunity?

Not to mention the just-revealed news that the rip crew that killed BP Agent Brian Terry was there with DEA and FBI assistance and approval to attack and kill a rival cartel's smuggling crew.

Let's not leave out the FBI and DEA laundering millions of dollars for the drug cartels by setting up bank accounts for them that they otherwise couldn't do.

It is organized, it is spread throughout every Federal LEA and it violates numerous domestic laws and numerous statutes and treaties that deal with foreign nations. Yet none of it has been officially sanctioned by Congress. (that I know of) It is the Federal government acting like mafioso.

Pres. Obama, AG Eric Holder and Sec. State Hillary Clinton are all deeply involved in this and it is unquestionably state-sponsored terrorism by the definition used to define states like Iran and North Korea.

PS: if you think I am wrong or exaggerating any of this I will be glad to bring you up to speed with very well sourced articles, legal depositions (publically available) and other public information that verifies every word I have said.

Either you are with these criminals or you are with U.S. I implore you to get informed, get involved and act or get run over by this. This lawless scandal is not going away.

Sincerely,

Mr. (TigersEye)

FBI Criminal Informant Complicit in Brian Terry’s Death (PJM Exclusive)

The rip crew was in Peck Canyon that evening with the intention of stealing money and drugs from a specific shipment of which they had prior knowledge.

(snip)

The rip crew knew to be in Peck Canyon that December evening because a CI working for the FBI found out about a smuggling run — from the FBI.

(snip)

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) — through its own CIs and communications intercepts — was also aware of the planned assault.

Neither the DEA nor FBI warned Border Patrol about the expected criminal activity.

(snip)

The federal government will still not reveal if one of the two WASR-10 AK-pattern semi-automatic rifles located near the scene — provided to the Sinaloa cartel via Operation Fast and Furious — was the weapon that put a bullet through Brian Terry’s heart. The existence of a third recovered gun, an SKS carbine, has been disputed by the FBI despite the fact it had been talked about openly in the beginning of the investigation among federal agents.

Multiple sources tell PJM that this third weapon “disappeared” because it was the weapon carried by the FBI CI who ran the rip crew. When it was recovered near the scene of the murder and subsequently traced by the ATF, it traced back to the FBI CI via the gun shop in Texas where it was purchased.
