Town Votes Down Windmill Plan, Board Moving Ahead Anyway
The people voted against zoning for the windmills so the township ceded the land to a neighboring township that had already zoned for them.
99% of the time I'll side with the individual landowner but these landowners signed leases knowing that there would be a zoning issue. And again, I usually side with the individual landowner but in this case windmills are an unavoidable and permanent eyesore which will negatively impact already depressed property values.
