One police officer is injured and two police cars are damaged as a standoff continues with an off-duty New Jersey police officer Sunday afternoon on Bittersweet Drive in Doylestown Township.

Police said Richard Klementovich, 42, an officer with Clifton, N.J., contacted his ex-wife earlier today to meet her and their children elsewhere and then he entered his wife's home instead and barricaded himself inside. Police said they believe there is nobody else in the house.

The usual army is surrounding the joint. Looks like a Father's Day present to his ex-wife.

He's a Desert Storm veteran and served with the Army Airborne, police said.

If he'd wanted to kill any of the other officers, they'd be dead.

My money is that it will end with suicide or suicide-by-cop.

I suspect the ex-wife killed the golden goose (he was making $100,000 a year).

Wow.. I live 15 minutes from there and I recently had some business on Bittersweet. That’s a nice quiet neighborhood of mostly newer 4-bedroom colonials.

>He’s a Desert Storm veteran and served with the Army Airborne,

And is on Bittersweet drive - there is a meaningful coincidence here somewhere according to Jung.

Para-military SWAT has no business in America today. - this will not end well
If he wanted people dead this would be a report from the mortuary

He surrendered peaceably, thank God.

Story says he’s a “fitness buff” in “top physical condition”. Could be that roid rage compounded his issues.
