Obama is delighted! Let's have some more Republican infighting, instead of having them focus on beating Obama.

As I have always said, this election is the GOP’s to lose. If they keep up this crap, they will.

What did Romney expect after his scorched earth campaign? one of his staffers stated they not only wanted to beat Newt..they wanted to destroy him. Many of the Santorum, Newt and Paul supporters are not happy.
““The Republican National Committee and its chairman have been aiding the Governor Romney campaign for at least six months,” the lawsuit asserts. “The RNC and its chairman, defendant Reince Priebus, have … combined with a particular candidate with all of the aid the RNC can possibly, but improperly give … to obstruct, intimidate and harass delegates from voting their conscience.”
Also I noticed that Sarah Palin made an interesting comment..it is at the end of the article.

oops that was Gilbert commenting on Palin. ““If the judge rules in our favor, I won’t be surprised if three or four new candidates, say Sarah Palin, jump in and say they want to be considered,” Gilbert told Courthouse News. “It will be the most interesting national convention in my lifetime if the judge rules for us on this.”

...The federal lawsuit ...demands the delegates be freed to “vote their conscience”....rather than being “bound” to vote for a certain candidate, as many state party bylaws require, based on the primary elections and other delegate selection procedures.

They want to change the rules now? They want to ignore the will of the voters they represent?

They think they are democrats?

I bet someone has finally done some polls and see that a good percentage of conservatives are not voting for romney. Glad to see their might be a way out of the bad choices we have. Liberal one and liberal two.

So we’re going to let a judge dictate how Repubs choose their candidates. Last time we let the press do it. Now lets let the court do it.

This is mischief, probably paid for by Soros. If it isn’t Soros, he has a bunch of people out there working for him for free.

The death throes of a once-great political party are so sad to watch.

Obama is delighted! Let's have some more Republican infighting, instead of having them focus on beating Obama.

It might be nice to have a conservative candidate. It might be nice to have a real convention. In a better time, these conventions weren't as scripted as a WWWE wrestling match.

The parties are private organizations. They get to set their own rules. If you don’t like them start your own party.

You have to admit that the GOP has been begging for this.

While you have a point and rules use to be rules, the natives are restless and have figured out that the convention is a coronation, the process is rigged and the delegates are there as the dupes to pull it all off, usually wearing large and hidious hats and blowing horns.

These delegates are grassroots, foot their own bill to get there and are not all rich. This year, it happens that they’re mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.

And under what jurisdiction does a Court have to overrule the internal by-laws of a political party? Did they have a separate contract guaranteeing them the right to not follow the by-laws that would allow them to have a cause of action? This makes no sense to file a lawsuit.

Well if the gop/e were not running the party like Tony Soprano’s crew... we would not be in disarray. The republican leadership does not represent me... they do not represent republicanism... they despise their own base. When republicans are as divided as we are... what do you expect?
