"Just in case anyone missed it, this is exactly the type of military adventurism that creeps up when you cut your own forces too much. We can attribute this directly to Barack Obama’s failure as president, and the Republicans who let him get away with gutting our military. We’re going to war, and I’m not talking about nations that don’t have nukes here. The average U. S. Citizen doesn’t have a clue."

Agreed. No one has a clue. I don't think even our own military and clandestine services understand the growing threat. Everyone keeps asking what the October "surprise" is. This is it. The US will be facing down Iran and/or Russia. The voters will go for the current CiC, as they always do. Obama's little stunt with usurping Congress about immigration matters will be lost in the threat of a nuclear exchange.

Another clue that most Citizens don't get is that we are NOT the only super-power. Russia still has enough nuclear warheads to blow this planet apart. I have never understood why just because we have more warships and better equipped military, that we are supposedly safe and cut back. Hell, we can barely maintain those barbarians in Aftganiscrap.

Add Pakistan, India, France, Britain, somewhat China to the mix, and we are the only super-power? Really? Just how many nukes does it take to destroy the economy of a nation and bring commerce to a screeching halt? 1 in DC? 2 on separate coasts? 3 or 5 spread out around the US? And what about Iran or the Norks selling dirty bombs to our enemies?

On the up side - our Tridents that nobody knows where and when they are with their nuclear warheads give me a warm fuzzy feeling...haha. To remind you, if a nuke were to go off on American soil, it has a radioactive signature as to where it was built - even from Iran.

BTW, I didn't mean to denigrate the thousands of good people that work for the CIA, NSA, or DOD. It's the leadership I have a problem with.

Those patriotic people work their butts off to analyze every ounce of data, but sometimes they do miss stuff, and sometimes the upper echelon looks away according to their own careers and CiC policies. Look how long it took them to find bin Laden, but I don't think that was political for the most part...just a matter of one man hiding in an area we had little access to.

Think about how long it took to find the "Unabomber" right here in the States. Anyone can hide if they go far enough underground.

Well, this is a case of being careful what you wish for....Hillary actually asked the Russians to deal with Syria, so now they are, in their own way.

>You think Clinton would have bombed the Serbs if there had been Russian advisers there?

Do you think Clinton would have let a Chinese embassy office be targeted by a cruise missile attack?

*Good for the Russians. The Alawites in Syria protects the Christians. If the Alawites are overthrown,it’ll be open season on Christians in Syria...*

Exactly right

Can you believe we’re really seeing Russia sending troops to the northern border of Israel? Can you believe it’s actually in the context of a ho-hum atmosphere?

Is it a God-event? I don’t know. But the laid back acceptance of it is worthy of note for future reference.

It’s almost as if there really were a hook in someone’s jaw.

The Republicans in Congress should pass a bill PROHIBITING President Obama from giving direct military aid (in any form) to the rebels in Syria. Needless to say, I would expect to Democrats to support it.

Why? Because at this point it’s becoming a proxy war between us and Russia and the Dems ALWAYS side against us. No different than when we supported the rebels in Nicaragua.

Oh yea, one difference, back then the Rebels were on our side and that “law” back then, the Bolen Amendment, nearly cost Reagan his presidency.

“Our Russian allies. As trustworthy as Pakistan or Saudi Arabia.”

Seems like the Russians are doing a better job looking out for our interests than our Administration.

Of the two sides, I’ll take Assad over another Iran ANY DAY.

If you are referring to Ezekiel 38, Russia is no where mentioned.

"....He also cannot bomb Syria, or do Predator strikes, without risking hitting a Russian, which is probably why Putin sent them. You think Clinton would have bombed the Serbs if there had been Russian advisers there?......"

Your analysis makes more sense than anything else I've seen. I agree.

Putin may be making a huge humanitarian gesture here, preventing a lot of bloodshed...by simply inserting Russian troops.

He knows Barry is incompetent and dangerous. Putin may be showing some real leadership here....

And to be frightfully honest, I have more confidence in a military under Putin getting involved than one under Islamist Obama.

And the word “Trinity” isn’t used in the bible either.

Nonetheless, Russian troops are ho-hum discussed on the northern border of Israel.

ho-hum, hum-drum, time just passing with no remark is a fairly good illustration of "when ye think not".

Thanks for the reminder, Brother.

What a fool the Russians know Obama to be. How well they have played him!

Obama to Putin: "I will have more flexibility fter the election."

I think the fools are the American voters who elected 'Bama Hussein.
