The special election Tuesday to fill the House seat vacated by shooting victim Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is overshadowed by the memory of the tragedy, but the Republican has tried to make it about Obama's policies.
Tucson, Ariz.
In a closely-watched race, Arizona voters on Tuesday will choose a candidate to complete the remainder of Rep. Gabrielle Giffordss term in Congress nearly 18 months after a gunshot wound to the head, which forced her to resign in January.
The names on the ballot will be Ron Barber as the Democrat and Jesse Kelly as the Republican. But perhaps the two more important names in the race are those of Giffords and President Obama the former still invoking significant goodwill here, the latter far less so.

That's it. Most people were willing to cut her some slack, and that attitude may extend even to voting for her endorsed candidate and former aide today. But come September, it will be a brand new game with McSally as a brand new player.
Forget Gabby Giffords, Obama is going down in flames more & more, with every passing day!!! That is the real world. A vote for Ron Barber is a totally wasted vote. Bank on it!!! Come November, 2012, Obama will take the majority of the Democrat Party with him down to a massive political defeat. As for Giffords, the spin on her unfortunate tragedy in lamentable, but....it has nothing to do with the furture of this great country. Folks, in AZ-8thCD, get out and vote for Jesse Kelly and help take down the enemy of State, Barack Hussein Obama!!!
And....even, should Barber win tonight, he will be toast, come November 2012, even with him running in a heavier Democrat district!!!! AZ goes Romney, big time!!!
