The Tea Party, GOP, and Conservatives need to go after the Public education system and go after it hard.

We no longer have the luxury of dealing with almost half of the voting public so misinformed as to the founding of this country, having a USSC judge actually believe South Africa’s constitution is better than ours or think we should allow international laws to have supremacy over ours, a President who actually believes the US Constitution is a document of negative liberties and has millions of followers who don’t question such stupidity.

If we think we have won if an election goes our way by a few percentage points we are only fooling ourselves.

If we cannot purge this country of the brainwashing going on in our public schools, then anytime you have a well spoken flimflam artist with questionable background appear on the scene we are at risk of permanent falling into the clutches of communism.

We have sat back and allowed commie union scum to teach our young minds and it is amazing that the “Progressives” have not won over a permanent majority.

For your children and grandchildren’s sake, get them out of the public school system and work in your communities for viable alternatives that teach the ACTUAL founding of this country.

We cannot risk the political pendulum constantly swinging further to the left with each swing. Elections are not enough. Education is very important. Unfortunately we have allowed union communists to do the education for us.

Why are the teachers the only ones to attack? From this morning's paper, concerning Manchester, CT and the police Union contract.

http://www.courant.com/community/manchester/hc-manchester-police-contract-0609-20120608,0,614799.story

Gotta *love* this: **The dispute between town administrators and the union centered on a policy that gave officers triple-time compensation for working on a holiday. For holiday work, officers receive eight hours of pay at the normal rate, a paid day off for the holiday and a paid day off for working on the holiday.**

Besides the holiday benefit, officers' time off includes annual vacations ranging from 10 to 25 days, 15 sick days a year and one day off for every 90 days of perfect attendance. Union representatives say their stance on keeping the policy was not about money, but rather about time off that officers need as respite from a stressful, often dangerous job.

I was talking to a cop effected by this: His reply, "So what? I live in this town and I pay taxes too."

From my life experience, a teacher working in an inner-city school is in far more danger and stress than a cop.

Across the board, *all* union contracts are killing every budget. Cops are padding their retirement packages with OT. Cops' bennies of food, clothing allowances; personal use of a cruiser on which they do *not* pay for gas, taxes, registration fees, maintenance.

Come on. Pay attention.
