ROANOKE, Va.
A Roanoke business woman's gun and where she keeps it has helped her launch another, new business.
Eliane Coleman Niemann has owned The Health Shelf, a full service herbal wellness center, for 18 years. She got quite a scare one day in 2009 and thought she was going to be robbed. Nothing happened, but an idea was born. It's called the Apron Gun Holster.
"I didn't want my customers to come into a health store and be talking to me about their health, and I'm doing reflexology on their feet and then seeing a pistol on my side," said Niemann.
After no luck searching for something suitable, Niemann bought material and had this apron made. She has her concealed carry permit and keeps a gun on her for protection. She encourages other small business owners and workers to do the same.
She has man hands
Ha!
The picture is of a model. (I think!)
And a man butt.
I like this flash bang bra holster.

I reckon that’s been done before...maybe not marketed, though.

How cool this lady is a friend on mine. I hope lots of people buy her invention she is a nice person and works hard a little success would be great.
Those are for sure not her hands.
Staying alive is an increasingly important health issue...
I sure hope Thunderwear includes a quadruple layer of Kevlar at the bottom of their holsters!
Kevlar alone won’t cut it, there needs to be a trauma plate piece down there too. What’s the point of stopping the bullet if it still mashes your nut into pudding? Can still die from trauma/shock.
Commas are our friends.
“I like this flash bang bra holster.”
Wow! Talk about a pair of 38’s!;)
I got a visual on when a potential robber walks in: “’Scuse me while I whip this out.”
Too much information, my FRiend.
As for the holster apron, it looks like a great idea. If I was a shop owner who had to wear an apron, that seems like a much better place to hide a weapon then under a counter. I suspect most robbers know better than to allow a victim to reach for a gun hidden near the register.
I wonder if anyone sells a holster hat so you can quickly draw and fire even with your hands in the air. A quick search came up with Mad Hat holsters, but those look like standard holsters to me. Oh well. Now I’m trying to recall the movie where the hero had a gun taped to the back of his head. Wasn’t that Die Hard?
...than under a counter.
I made the old “then” versus “than” mistake—possibly other errors, to.
(Yeah. This time it was intentional.)
I know a place where you can buy periods wholesale for your sentences.
It was die hard. He had it taped to his back, between the shoulders.
That was on today. Samuel L. Jackson was in it as the racist shopkeeper.
