I hope he wins too. They are right. Messing with horses happens as does in the dog world. Even owners will kill their horses to get the insurance money. It was really bad in the quarter horse world.
The reason horses in Europe die less often is because they’re far more likely to race on grass/turf, rather than dirt. American horses are bred for speed, not distance, which ups the odds of breaking down. European horses are far more likely to suffer tendon and ligament injuries which are less likely to end in death, but still ends their racing careers.
The horse racing industry should be deeply shamed
Why? Baseball and football players doped for decades. These sports are vastly more popular than horse racing.
I had small bets on Bodemeister in the last 2 races.
