I had a local forum conversation this morning and one of the "progressives" assured me that they would never condone censorship in any form.

It's amazing how they can lie that way, it makes me wonder if they're even aware of what they're doing.

This is right around the corner from me, it’s a Reform congregation so no one should be surprised that they are libs. Some people never learn, yet sound so intellectual to themselves. Probably Irv Slosberg’s temple, the publicity slut that he is. The best thing I can say about this group is that they are the older generation. The younger Jews in Boca are a lot smarter about politics than the older generation, who would smile at FDR if he manned the gas chambers himself.

And people wonder why Reform synagogues are empty most weeks.
The irony is that their leftist political activism is antithetical to the founding purpose of Reform Judaism.

Not a fan of the Nazi comparisons in the article.

The reformed “temple” is theoretically a private organization and can bar anyone it desires from entry.

They fact they confuse the NY Times for the Torah is but one of their heresies.

No Democrat has ever been elected while getting less than 67% of the Jewish vote. Obama is currently at 61%.

Frankly, I can't understand how any Jewish congregation could invite Susan Rice to speak in view of her anti-Israel, anti-semitic, pro-Islamic history. To compound the error by telling the police to block the anti-Obama folks from entering the synagogue makes the Boca Raton congregation's actions even more obnoxious.

Perhaps the Reform Jewish 'Rats who sponsored the event were trying to get even for the cancellation of Wasserman-Schultz's appearance in the Miami temple.

Unfortunately, Abraham Miller, the writer of the posted article, expects too much cordiality and magnanimity from today's "liberals." Perhaps he doesn't get how the definition of "liberal" has morphed over the past century from one who values individual freedom to one who advocates repression of political and ideological dissidents.

I can’t forget how pro-Israel Susan Rice was at her confirmation hearing. How do you say Kabuki dance in Hebrew?

one can only tolerate so much from the intolerant. Reaching out to the muslims and showing them the security room sorta reminded me of hezekiah showing some Babylonian nobodies the jewels and defenses of the kingdom
