Not a blunder at all. It’s an attempted take-down, Sopranos-style.

The Catholic Church has been a major thorn in the side of the World Secularist/Leftist movement for many, many years now. With their golden boy in power at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. they thought they had their shot to take out the roadblock once and for all.

Regardless of how the mandate plays out, the stage is set for a decades-long grudge match to the death between these two players.

The Catholic Church was established nearly 2000 years ago. In that time it has faced evil more times than I know enough to count. It has faced brutal tyrants, insane tyrants, reckless tyrants, and now a lazy golfing tyrant-wannabe. The Church has survived every enemy that God's enemy has thrown at it throughout those twenty centuries.

Communism, Socialism, and Marxism are only about a tenth as old as the Church and have failed catastrophically everywhere they have been tried. While I am concerned about this latest attack on our God-given rights and intend to stay active and vigilant, I am pretty confident that religious freedom will win and the far left will lose in this latest battle between good and evil.

The Obama’s are just chipping away with their tactics. Every day they alienate a few people here a few people there. It won’t be news until it reaches critical mass. By that time there will be no hope.

I don’t believe this will hurt him that much with the Catholic vote. There are people who worship him. To them, he IS their god and they will forsake all others.

This line, to me, is the penultimate example of both his ignorance and megalomania.

“You can tell people how, because we passed health reform, insurance companies will now have to cover preventive care — have to. Things like contraception, cancer screenings, prenatal care — and they have to do it at no extra cost.”

Clearly, he does not know and does not care where the where-with-all to do things comes from.

If only it were possible to unelect with extreme prejudice. That feeling goes for anyone fool enough to vote for this cretin.

Mr. and Mrs. Obama still don't get it.

Incorrect. Mr. and Mrs. Obama just don't care. When it comes to abetting the moral decay that breeds more brats for the welfare state they will let nothing get in their way.

Far too long the Catholic Church has supported liberal politicians and political causes in the name of "social justice" and has ignored the fact these same politicians were staunch supporters of abortion. Now "...the chickens have come home to roost..." and the pro abortion agenda is being forced down the Church's throat by the very same people they supported all these years. The irony is that many Catholics especially some of the clergy rooted for Obamacare because of the false promise of free medical care for the poor and failed to notice the pro-abortion and denial of medical care to the old and very young (death panels) that are part of it. Even assisted suicide and euthanasia could easily be woven into a national health plan as a "cost saving" measures.

Now thankfully the Church is finally seeing first hand the godless nature of liberalism and how it does not respect freedom of religion or moral teachings.
